Josh King

I am thrilled to introduce Josh King, my mentor who many of you within the events industry will know. I have loved working with Josh as part of the FF15 scheme. From our first meeting I sensed his zest and passion for events and marketing.

Josh’s journey from Events Assistant to Shareholder and VP of Growth at emc3 over the last decade is an inspiring one. He’s worked in roles covering event planning, marketing and sales and openly shares lots of his learnings from mastering these disciplines.

Josh is a huge advocate for mental health and wellbeing, sustainability, and diversity and inclusion and champions these important causes by supporting industry schemes and organisations including FF15, REACH, the Safe Space Charter and Diversity Alliance. Josh also launched the Sustainable Events Community earlier this year on a mission to help our industry to become more sustainable.

Josh regularly speaks at industry-leading events and utilises his marketing knowledge and expertise to drive sales and growth for his business. He’s onboarded the world’s leading brands including HP, Google, Twilio and Gong and was awarded Salesperson of the Year two years running at the Conference News Awards.

Josh is also a huge advocate of the growth of his team. He’s spent many years driving the company culture of his business and as a result emc3 were awarded the Best Place to Work Award. The emc3 team invest over £5,000 per person, per year in learning and development and company culture and as a result they can attract and retain the best talent from around the world.

With year-on-year wins as Global Agency of the Year at the Conference News Awards with Josh driving growth, I’m excited to see what we can achieve together this year.

He’s been an incredible support helping me to design and refine my website and sales outreach in addition to helping me to align on my goals, objectives and vision for growth as a freelancer. A huge thank you from me personally, Josh.
