A proven business leader with over 30 years’ experience in the hotel and events sector, formerly working for 2 International hotel groups and then as an established SME business owner and managing director.
I’ve built agencies from the ground up and overseen all functional elements of their operation and growth over a 24-year period.
I’ve worked with many amazing people over those years and, with a solid background in Sales and Marketing, I feel privileged to have worked extensively with a wide variety of corporate and Professional Association clients across many projects including Strategic Meetings Programmes, preferred corporate accommodation programmes and large-scale ‘city wide’ events.
Our industry has never seen such a rapid transformation as it has in recent years and my current focus is for how digitisation can impact positively on event delivery. Digital transformation will continue to force change and we are now at the forefront of that change, creating opportunities to deliver better value for our clients. In addition to this, I also have a genuine interest in personal growth and how we can improve our motivation to achieve more and get us to the next level in our roles. I am proud of the teams I have built over the years and people I have developed who have gone on to achieve great things.
