BAME Ambassador FF15

I’m based in London, and work as a European Marketing Manager at Cvent. With nearly 15 years’ sales and marketing experience in fast-moving technology businesses, I’m an experienced CIM qualified marketing professional. I’m responsible for the strategic direction of the marketing team in Europe, including expansion planning, campaign execution, demand generation and event management.

Before joining Cvent, I held multiple marketing and business development positions with technology providers including Rackspace, Telecity Group (now Equinix), Infinity Data Centres and Merrill Corporation (now Datasite). Having had a healthy appetite for events for many years, I also have experience in planning and hosting both corporate and private events as well as speaking at both live and virtual events.

I was inspired and encouraged to work alongside FF15 by my good friend and colleague, FF15 Mentor and MPI UK and Ireland chapter president, Judy Elvey. Having shared several impassioned discussions about diversity, inclusion and women in leadership, Judy championed the work of FF15 and inspired me to get involved.

I am ready to make waves and enjoy the open nature of conversations on hard-hitting topics that others might not feel so free to address.

“I am really excited to be an FF15 BAME Ambassador and be part of the important discussion on inclusion and diversity within the meetings and events industry, with a specific focus on the lack of BAME representation. I’m also grateful that Fay and FF15 are open and willing to start this conversation and am extremely positive about what we can achieve over the next year. For me, words without action are simply useless and this is absolutely a step in the right direction.”
