Caroline is Director of Events at XSEM and has dedicated her career to championing the power of events in connecting people, building successful brands and creating meaningful experiences. With a rich background that includes luxury hotel operations, national sales and senior leadership roles at high-profile agencies, Caroline approaches event delivery and team leadership with a practical, people-first mindset.

At XSEM, she leads and mentors a remarkable team of project managers, focusing on culture, career development, and always doing the right thing for clients, colleagues, and the wider events world. Caroline is passionate about creating spaces where people feel supported, challenged, and trusted to excel, especially during times of change and growth.

A long-standing advocate for the events industry, Caroline gives back through volunteering and mentoring. She serves as a Board Director of beam, a trustee of EventWell, and regularly mentors students and emerging talent through universities and industry programmes. Caroline is also a regular speaker at industry events, covering topics such as leadership, resilience, sustainability and wellbeing. She is deeply committed to nurturing the next generation of event professionals.

A proud Yorkshire woman, Caroline lives in Harrogate and, when she’s not working, can usually be found borrowing friends’ dogs for long countryside walks, cooking big Sunday lunches for her grown-up children and an ever-changing cast of friends, and enjoying the simple things that keep life balanced.
