Meet Our Founder
Fay Sharpe OBE is a leading figure with over 40 years in the event and hospitality industry.
As a co-founder & shareholder of Zibrant, a full service agency acquired by BCD M&E in 2016, Fay recognised the challenges women faced in achieving senior and leadership roles and entrepreneurial opportunities. From this, Fay launched the Fast Forward 15 mentoring programme, which has garnered recognition from industry associations and peers.
Fay’s influence and contributions to the industry has been celebrated with a variety of accolades in her career, including an Honorary Doctorate from UWL in 2018, and an OBE in the 2022 Honours List for her work in equality, mentoring and services to charity.
Throughout her career she has been actively involved in promoting women in events, lobbying government and working with cross-parliamentary groups to highlight inequality and act as a role model for females in the sector.

Fay has received many accolades and awards for her contributions to the events industry, charity work and mentoring future talent. This includes:
- M&IT Personality of the Year (2011 & 2018)
- Mentor of the Year Shine Awards
- Executive PA Award for Boss of the Year
- Lloyds TSB CBI’s First Women of Tourism and Leisure Award and
- No 1 in C&IT Top 50
- Order of the British Empire (OBE) for services to female mentorship
- Honorary Doctorate from UWL in 2022

Fay's Mission
Passionate about philanthropy, Fay served 7 years as a voluntary chair of trustees for the Muscle Help Foundation. In addition, she has participated in various charity challenges and raised over £150,000.
Her aim is to be a role model for women of all backgrounds and ethnicities. Her story from council house to multimillionaire while retaining her ethos of lifting women up inspires, and she hopes to continue to support women and offer guidance for the next generation to follow.
