Cecilia is Head of EMEA Sales for One World Rental, an award winning global event technology and IT services company. With over 10 years of experience within the events industry she has worked for a wide range of event providers including venues, caterers, equipment suppliers as well as running her own events consultancy. Having first-hand knowledge of the full events cycle from designing creative concepts through to production and post-event management, gives her a unique insight into understanding both consumers and providers within the events industry. This is knowledge and insight that Cecilia uses day to day in her role as a sales and business development professional. With a focus on strategy creation and execution on a global level for One World Rental she has valuable insight into the customer buying journey and market place trends which she is constantly exploring and expanding.
Cecilia has a passion for supporting fellow event professionals and a genuine devotion to growth and education within the industry which she has put into practice in her role as President of ILEA UK. She has since the early days of her career been involved in ILEA both internationally and locally and this volunteer role is something she dedicates a lot of time and effort to.
Cecilia is based in London and enjoys travelling the world to explore new cultures and meet new people. She also has a real appetite for food which probably comes from her days spent in catering, Cecilia enjoys trying new recipes and probably spends too much money in restaurants. She is very sociable and enjoys helping and connecting people and therefore her career in the events industry doesn’t feel like a job to her – it is her passion.
